Бегалиева Сауле Баязовна
Position
Begalieva Saule Bayazovna, born in 1958, in 1980 graduated from the Philological Faculty of
Chimkent Pedagogical Institute, specialty “Russian language and literature with an
additional specialty of pedagogy”, in 1994 graduated from Almaty State University named
after Abai, specialty “Kazakh language and literature”. In 2011, she defended her thesis for
the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty “13.00.08 - Theory and
Methodology of Professional Education”, has the academic title of associate professor in the
specialty “Pedagogy” (2001), has been a professor at the Kazakh National Pedagogical
University named after Abai since 2006. In 2012 she received the academic title of professor
of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. She is engaged in active research activities,
has publications both in Kazakhstani and foreign scientific journals. Begalieva S.B.
prepared and published more than 200 scientific works, including 5 monographs, (1 published
in Germany), 10 textbooks for secondary schools of the Republic, recommended by the Ministry
of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 13 textbooks recommended by the RUMS
of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on specialties of the
group “Education”, 15 textbooks recommended by the Academic Council of KazNPU named after
Abai, 5 methodological recommendations.
She was the scientific director of the intra-university research project on the topic:
"Intercultural communication in teaching Kazakh and Russian as foreign languages" (Abai
KazNPU) (2010), the scientific director of the intra-university research project on the
topic: "Teaching foreigners the Kazakh and Russian languages in higher education in
Kazakhstan" (Abai KazNPU) (2011), the chief researcher of the intra-university research
project "Innovative foundations of university language training in multilingual educational
conditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2012), the chief researcher and the head of the
intra-university research project of the NAO Abai KazNPU on the topic "MOOC "Abai in the
context of world culture" (2022).
Currently, she is an acting professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World
Literature of the Faculty of Philology of KazNU named after Al-Farabi.
